Destination : Delhi - Shimla - Manali - Jispa - Sarchu - Leh - Delhi

The highlight of the tour is a spectacular drive through some of the highest mountain passes in the world, including the Taglang La at over 17000-ft. The drive ends in Ladakh, the "Abode of Gods", where the landscape changes dramatically at every turn. The arid high altitude desert is dotted with beautiful monasteries with the blue waters of the Indus River flowing through. There is the chance of sighting rare wildlife including the magnificent snow leopard. We also take in the charming hill station of Shimla, the summer capital of the "Raj".
Best Season : Mid-July to mid-October. The road to Leh is closed in the remaining period.

Day 1
Arrive Delhi and transfer to Hotel for two night.

Day 2
Late Morning tour of Delhi to include Qutb Minar, Humayun's Tomb and Raj Ghat. After Lunch at the hotel visit Government buildings, India Gate and Laxmi Narayan (Birla )Temple Optional tours in the evening can be arranged for sound and light show at the Red Fort. or local dance show.

Day 3
Transfer to railway station for train to Shimla .Arrive Shimla and transfer to hotel for 2 nights.

Day 4
The day is at leisure .Alternatively you may wish to explore the various sights of this quaint hill station or prefer to just walk on the Mall.

Day 5
Drive to Manali and check into the Hotel for 2 nights.

Day 6
Morning sightseeing to include the Hadimba temple, the Tibetan monastery and the sulphur springs.Afternoon at leisure.

Day 7
Drive around 7 hours in a jeep crossing the Rohtang pass (4000 Mts.) and descending sharply into the Lahaul Valley. The landscape changes dramatically from lush green to stark and barren, typical of an arid high altitude desert. Overnight at Jispa.

Day 8
Today you cross the Baralacha la (4900 Mts.), literally meaning a summit with cross roads. It is here that roads from Lahaul, Spiti, Zanskar and Leh meet. Drive on to Sarchu (4200 Mts.) Overnight

Day 9
Drive along Rupshu plains, the highest inhabited region in the world. You have a chance to see rare wildlife like the wild horse (Skyang), ibex and the magnificent snow leopard. Cross the second highest motorable pass in the world at Taglang la (5327 Mts.) before the long flat drive to Leh. Stay at Leh for 3 nights.

Day 10
Full day excursion to Leh town and Stok Palace.

Day 11
Excursion to Shey, Thikse and Hemis monasteries.

Day 12
Fly back to Delhi and transfer to the hotel for 2 nights.

Day 13
The day is at leisure.

Day 14
Transfer to the airport to board your return flight.
